In order to get these first three quests done for Mr. Euston, players will need to battle some orcs, farm some Royal Soil, and get a mysterious stone called Sanguinite. This stone will help to open up the rest of the island for players to explore.

The Sanguinite Quest in Dragon Quest Treasures
After picking up the quest from Mr. Euston back on Eggshell, players will need to head to Paternoggin. They will need some levels in order to complete this quest because they have to move through the dangerous territory as well as battle against a difficult enemy. As Erik or his sister, the female Dragon Quest character Mia, head south and west from the train station. The first part of this quest chain will be here.
Fighting Against Gayle in Dragon Quest Treasure
Once players of this Nintendo Switch-exclusive JRPG reach the southern part of the head, they will find Gayle. This character promises to help Erik and Mia get the Sanguinite they need, but only if they win against her in a mock battle first.
Gayle and her crew of critters are all in the level 5 range, and the battle is not very difficult at all. Bring along whatever Dragon Quest slimes and other monsters are at the highest levels to get this over with as quickly as possible.
Getting the Sanguinite
After battling against Gayle, she will direct players to use their new treasure-hunting powers to scan the area for the Sanguinite, which is hidden under the ground. Each monster in the party will give a different perspective of what the treasure looks like, and players will have to find the location where all the monsters are seeing treasure. In order to cycle through their treasure visions, hold L and press B.
The treasure is located here in Dragon Quest Treasures:
Once the treasure is found, dig it up with the sword by holding the A button.
The treasure chest will contain the one piece of Sanguinite needed to complete the quest, and it will also unlock a quick travel win tunnel to get back to the station. Once there, travel back to Mr. Euston and give him the good news.
Dragon Quest Treasures is available now for Nintendo Switch.
