Beckham underwent surgery on Monday after his season came to an abrupt end 24 hours earlier during the fourth quarter of New York Giants’ 27-22 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers.
The 24-year-old vowed to come back “better than ever” in an Instagram post on Tuesday, and his mood will have no doubt been lifted further by the visit from close friend Drake.
Accompanying a picture alongside the wide receiver in his hospital bed, Drake wrote: “Had to come visit bro…bounce back like 13.”
